CoronaVirus: Replace the Fear with Action! The time is now to focus on Wellbeing!!

I have been feeling conflicted about whether I should weight in and talk briefly about the Coronavirus (COVID-19)

There has been an overwhelming amount of information and differentiating points of view.  Lot’s of what to do, and what not to do… should I travel? or not and so on.  Many companies and biz owners trying to do what is best for their workforce while also trying to navigate potential HR issues… It’s a lot right…?

What prompted me to write this blog?

  1. Many of you have asked me informally about my point of view regarding the Coronavirus.
  2. How we can use opportunities like this to recommit to our own health and that of our families. The is a huge wakeup call for all of us to ensure we focus on our total wellbeing. Our Whole Body/Mind/and Spirit is your Immune System!

The global coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak

In the midst of worries about the global coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, it can be easy to slip into fears about the unknown and concerns about what a global health crisis could cause. In fact, at times, it seems that fear surrounds us, fueled by the media and fed by our natural desires to protect our family and communities.

However, this can also be a time of hope, as we all, as wellness advocates and seekers, recommit to our shared belief that wellness and a strong immune system can help protect us and in turn help the rest of world’s inhabitants prevent disease. What if we told and showed everyone we know that we do have choice and that we can take positive action towards a stronger immune system.

How do we make a difference? By remaining  optimist. Taking positive steps forward can be so powerful in the face of adversity.
