Fast Homemade Gluten Free Bread

For those who have to have “bread” A quick easy recipe from one of our of community of patients: Note: I prefer you use the Oven Option 🙂 Enjoy!

Bread in a Mug

1/4 C egg whites or 1 egg (I use one egg)
2 T golden flax meal
2 T almond flour
1 tsp coconut oil or butter
2 tsp water
dash salt
1/2 tsp baking powder

Mix well, microwave in a mug or smallish rectangle or square shaped dish. 60 sec or up to 80 depending on your microwave. Cut in half and use for sandwiches or butter and eat as a roll.

OR if you cook it in a flat configuration it can be cooked in a toaster oven (or regular oven). Toaster oven – about 425 degrees for 5 minutes or until golden brown.
